Shaping the Future with Purpose


My grandfather, Franz Mendel, was a founding member of the Munich Security Conference and the magazine European Security, which later became European Security & Technology, together with Ewald-Heinrich von Kleist-Schmenzin. He believed that influence isn’t about being seen—it’s about shaping the conversations that define the future. His ability to anticipate geopolitical shifts and connect decision-makers across industries to prevent conflict was something I deeply admired. It’s one of the reasons I focus on Techplomacy, ethical AI, and digital influence today.
Science and strategy run in my family. We are also descendants of Gregor Mendel’s brother—Gregor Mendel being widely known as the father of genetics. His work laid the foundation for modern data analysis and predictive modeling, concepts that now shape AI, behavioral science, and decision-making at scale. The ability to see patterns, anticipate shifts, and apply scientific principles to real-world challenges has always been a part of my lineage—and it’s a mindset I bring into everything I do.
That same ability to recognize patterns is what led to my Forbes 30 Under 30 recognition in Marketing and Advertising. Understanding how people interact with technology, how marketing psychology drives their decisions, and how digital influence shapes behavior has been at the core of my work.
